Our Hiring Process

Before hiring, we conduct a thorough career path and goal assessment analysis. We want to know the following:

  • What is your desired income range?
  • What pay level would change your life?
  • How long would you like to drive trucks?
  • Would you like to own your truck?
  • Would you like to become an owner-operator?
  • Would you like to obtain your carrier authority?
  • How would you rate your personal credit?
  • Do you know how to form a business? (LLC, S Corp, C Corp, Partnership, Limited Partnership, etc.)
  • Do you know how to establish business credit?
  • Are you a homeowner?

With this information, we can start the relationship truthfully and transparently. We can also assist by pairing the employees with affiliate partners or other in-house or outsourced resources that may guide them in the following areas:

  • Repairing their credit – Useful in general, but also necessary if you intend to purchase or lease a truck eventually. Poor credit or no credit will not factor in working for Wilson Direct Inc.
  • Understanding how to obtain their operating authority
  • How to form a business
  • What steps to take in becoming a homeowner, and more! – As a former mortgage banker, the founder understands that the home is one of the foundational components of the family unit. Moreover, we believe that the home is your first ministry. The entire family unit is negatively impacted when it is in disarray or inadequately provided for. Having assisted hundreds of clients in attaining homeownership, the founder and Wilson Direct Inc. would like to assist their valuable employees with achieving this goal.

Some may consider this insane and suggest that we will spend more time grooming employees to exit our organization and managing attrition. However, we feel our relationships are made stronger, and there is more value in creating a structure and an encouraging environment that helps our fellow team members accomplish their future goals.
